Emre Evren, Research Student in Geophysics

Emre Evren is originally from Istanbul,Turkey. He took his Geophysics BSc. and MSc. degrees from Istanbul Technical University. After one year in University of Oxford, he joined our research group as a PhD. student in 2004. He is mainly interested in global / regional active tectonics and the tools used to find specific answers related to active tectonics; including GPS modeling, stress calculations and related risk assessment studies. Also he is well experienced in paleoseismology and exploration (shallow) geophysics including electrics, EM and seismic methods. - Personal web page http://www.earth.ox.ac.uk/~emree
